阀杆-E Pathway 咨询
阀杆-E (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math & the Environment) Pathway counselors are available to help you achieve your goals! STEM counseling is for students who plan to major in a 阀杆 field such as Biology, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental/Earth Science, Geology, Chemistry, Physics, 数学, 和/or are interested in continuing on to a professional program such as Medical, Dental, Pharmacy or Veterinary School.
All 阀杆 Pathway students should start by seeing a 阀杆 Counselor.
阀杆 Drop-in 咨询:
阀杆 Drop-in 咨询 is offered in-person in the 阀杆 Center, 3906. 登记在 the front desk to sign-up. Speak with a 阀杆 Drop-in Counselor for up to 20 minutes 寻求帮助:
- Assistance with Fall 24 course planning 和 course registration (add/drop/W) questions, issues, or blocks
- 形式, such as: Math/Chem/Physics placements, overrides, course repeat petitions, 多余的单位等.
- TAG/TSP, UC/CSU Transfer application assistance 和 questions
Fall 2024 阀杆 Drop-in 咨询 Schedule:
Thursdays from 11am-1pm
(No drop-in from 12-1pm on 9/19, 10/17, 11/21, 12/19, 1/16/2025, 2/20, 3/20, 4/17, 5/15 due to President's Town Hall)
Additional Drop-in/computer lab hours for UC TAG/CSU TSP assistance:

阀杆 咨询 Appointments:
阀杆 咨询 appointments are offered in person (in the 阀杆 Center, 3906) or virtually 通过放大. 咨询 appointments for Fall 2024 will start Week 2 (8/25/24).
Schedule an appointment with a 阀杆 Counselor to:
- Discuss your academic, transfer, 和 career goals
- Review transfer 和 AS/AS-T requirements
- Develop a Comprehensive Student Education Plan (SEP), which will map out which courses you need to take each semester until graduation 和/或转让 (we recommend you do this within your first year at Chabot)
- Review transcripts from prior colleges/universities, or Advanced Placement (AP) scores
- Complete 咨询 forms (such as: excess units, prerequisite overrides, course repeat 请愿书等.)
- Get connected with 阀杆 Resources (tutoring, research/internship 和 scholarship information) 和 阀杆 Support Programs

台面/Trio 阀杆 Program students should schedule with their 台面 Counselor.
New Incoming 阀杆 students: 阀杆-E First Semester 规划 Sessions (FSPS)
All new, incoming, first-time in college students planning to pursue a 阀杆-E Pathway major should attend a 阀杆 First Semester 规划 sessions (FSPS) to help you plan out your first semester of classes 和 get you connected with 阀杆-E Pathway supports 和 resources.
New students who have previously attended another college or are a returning Chabot student should schedule an individual 阀杆 咨询 appointment or come to 阀杆 Drop-in instead (see above)
